Neil's PageAnd here, finally, is my own page. A bit about myself perhaps. you could say I'm a 1963 vintage and have been messing with various computers for fun since 1982. I worked as a senior network security consultant for Capgemini for 10 years before moving to British Telecom Global Services so I know a little bit about firewalls, intruder detection systems, hacking and the like. I would recommend that everyone tries the Shields Up site on the links page and checks their own security. We have 6 (!) computers at home all connected together. For fun, I write distributed programs studying random number and chaos theory. I have a very understanding wife and, like I said to Jan, it keeps me out of the pub. And finally, when I'm not playing with computers, working, watching telly, shopping, etc. I like to cook the occasional curry. See my pages for over 40 good recipes. |
