Vegetable Korma


20oz frozen vegetable mix (cauliflower, peas and carrots)
3 tbs oil
1 onion (chopped)
1" cube of fresh ginger (chopped)
2 tsp dhania
1 tsp haldi
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala
3 cloves garlic (chopped)
3 fl. oz. Chopped tin tomato
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbs double cream


  1. Heat oil in a saucepan.
  2. Fry onion until brown.
  3. Add ginger and garlic and fry for 1/2 minute.
  4. Add all spices and fry for further 1/2 minute.
  5. Add chopped tomato and fry for 1 minute.
  6. Add vegetables and reduce heat.
  7. Cover pan and cook until vegetable are soft.
  8. Add cream just before serving. Serve hot with rice or chappati.
