Seekh Kebab


1lb Mince
1 small onion (grated)
3-4 cloves of garlic (crushed)
1"cube of fresh ginger (crushed)
1/2 tsp Salt
1 green Chilli (finely chopped)
1/2 tsp Chilli Powder
1 1/2 tsp Garram Masala
2 tbsp chopped Coriander
1 egg
Sliced onion and lemon wedges to garnish


  1. Mix all ingredients well.
  2. Take a little mince and roll around skewer. (Tip. If the mince sticks to your hands then dip hand in water and rub on a little cooking oil)
  3. Make 4"-5" long kebabs.
  4. Cook Kebabs under a medium grill or shallow fry turning occasionally

Alternatively form into small flat rounds and shallow fry or grill or better still, barbecue.
